Many companies use the metallic or silver look on their merchandising materials especially on the field of gadgets and technology because it denotes highly advanced technology and innovation that makes a great first impression. So, here’s the 3-step on how to come up with this result.

Let’s get started.
Step 1 Create new file, set to 500 to 500 px.

Step 2 On Menu Bar, Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise >. Use the settings shown below.

Step 3 Again, Go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and set 100 pixels on Distance, then crop the unnecessary part on both sides.

That’s it, as easy as pie!

7 reasons why i love Dalmatians

1. I own one and christened him Shijo. He is very elegant with liver (dark brown) spots. Dalmatians are picture of elegance with proportioned and well-built body.

2. They serve as a guard dog, combat dog, fire-department mascot, hunter, shepherd, performer, coach or carriage dog and a real hero.

3. Dalmatians are intelligent and energetic. They are playful and jolly. They enjoy playing with children and get along well with other pets. They generally have a high level of endurance and may get easily keyed up.

4. They are easy to groom, tidy and self-cleaning. If you own more than one, they will often groom each other.

5. Since their short hair and sensitive skin makes them vulnerable to cold weather they love being hugged and hug you in return. They need human companionship and for this reason they are not yard nor tie outside dogs.

6. Dalmatians are very loyal buddy. They will be your protector and faithful defender.

7. Dalmatians spend lots of time with their families. They love being the center of attention at all times - a spotted clown that will certainly put your stress away.

Tips for Using Pen Tool

The Pen Tool is one of the hardest tools I’ve ever learned in Adobe Illustrator. Before, I preferred Corel Draw in tracing since this is the first designer’s software I’ve mastered in working with vectors. It really takes time to learn how it works particularly for beginners but it is great once you find out. Being well-versed with this powerful tool is one of the most vital skills a graphic designer must possess. Here are some tips that will help you master in creating paths. Don’t stop until you figured it out and soon you will be able to create different vector artworks.
Use few anchor points as possible
Using too many points will cause unwanted bumps in a curve

Use shortcuts like Alt/Option or Ctrl/Command
to quickly exchange to other tools.

Select the direct selection tool before you choose the pen tool.
Pick the direct selection tool before you pick the pen tool. Hold the command (Mac) ctrl (Windows) to have temporary access to the last tool used (Direct Selection) so you can make adjustments on your anchor points and handles without disabling the path.

Use the spacebar.
While holding the space bar you access the hand to navigate your around your document without disabling the path.

Click and drag to make a point into a Bezier curve.
Select the Direct Selection tool (it’s the white arrow) to manually adjust when the curve doesn't look right to you.

Press and hold (Windows) or Option-drag (Mac OS) to split the bezier curve
(While mouse button is still depressed)

Press and hold down space bar to move the point
(While mouse button is still depressed)

Drag your handle and make its length around 1/3 of the length of the segment
This way it is easier to draw curved line

Alt-drag (Windows) or Option-drag (Mac OS) direction lines to break out the direction lines of an anchor point.

    clever advertising

We all know that advertising has a great part in marketing. It is a form of communication that encourages the consumer to purchase a particular brand of product or service. This post will provide ideas to clever advertising and make you smile ^-^

    It’s REALLY CLEVER!

Add ImageLife-size stickers of people were stuck on automatic sliding doors at a mall in Mumbai, India. When someone approaches, the doors move apart and it feels like the people on the door are moving away.
The person entering finds the message, "People move away when you have body odor".

Cool advertisement found in Malaysia. A sticker was placed on the high voltage box depicting that powerful Duracell batteries were used.

An ambient exercise to promote Eatalica burgers. A "Caution - Wet Floor" board was placed near an Eatalica burger signboard. The copy on the board reads, "Oogling at the burger may involuntarily cause drooling, which may in turn lead to a wet floor. Issued for your safety by the management of Eatalica Restaurant". (Eatalica is an American-Italian food joint in Chennai , India.)

A giant mirror was built that allowed passers-by to stop and look at themselves wearing Indivi clothes at a shopping mall in Tokyo, Japan.

Advertisements for a job-recruiting company in Berlin , Germany depict people working in vending machines and ATMs. It delivers the message, "Life is too short for the wrong job".

Stickers were placed in selected car park locations and car workshops where M-Tech Plasma HID lights are sold in Malaysia It delivers the message that these headlights are 300% brighter than regular headlights. The burn-effect sticker from the headlights really leaves an impression.

In another creative idea by The Fitness Company, "dumbbells" were placed at various subways in New York City, which create an illusion that the person holding the safety bar is doing weights.

A very cost-effective advertisement in Hong Kong for a yoga school showcases the prowess of a yoga practitioner on the flexible stems of drinking straws
Inquiries and enrollment went after up this promotional stunt.

A creative ad by Mini Cooper placed at the Zurich, Switzerland train station, and shows people climbing into or out of the car, when they are actually entering or exiting stairs.

a koala bear captured my heart ^-^

I was riding in a bus, going home when I watched the news about Sam, a Koala Bear who survived from Australia’s worst-ever wildfire. She was spotted by a firefighter hobbling along on burned paws. Her story of survival and love will surely capture your heart as well as the people around the world.
The little furry survivor held the firefighter's hand as he dispensed water in her mouth. (very touching scenario!)

Sam suffered second- and third-degree burns to her paws.

Cheyenne Tree treats her at the Mountain Ash Wildlife Center in Rawson.

cute Bob, another survivor who won the affection of Sam

Sam, right, and boyfriend Bob the Koala both rescued from the blazed forest in Gippsland huddle in their cage at the Mountain Ash Wildlife Centre in Rawson south east of Melbourne. They became friends after they were taken to the same shelter. They are both healing well now.

Their paws were both wounded but not their heart ^-^…
